New Jersey is on the precipice of legalizing cannabis, with an amendment for recreational adult use on the ballot on November 3rd. New Jersey is quickly turning heads in the industry by unapologetically tying the social justice discussion to any proposed legislation.

Shawna Vercher, Executive Producer of Green Reine, sat down with two leaders of the Latino Action Network: Javier Robles, Executive Vice President, and Daniel Ulloa, Vice President of Communications. Both Javier and Daniel discussed the importance of legalization in New Jersey, especially its effect on the African American and Hispanic communities.
